Dr. Mindy Price
DVM
Dr. Mindy Price
Dr. Price is a Wisconsin native that moved to beautiful North Carolina in 2013. She started her career in veterinary medicine working in emergency medicine and then moved to working as a mixed animal practitioner.
Her special interests include: Dermatology (for all those itching dogs and cats!) and Surgery.
She enjoys training border collies with her herd of sheep and going to sheepdog trials. She and her hubby have lots of working dogs (Border collies, Great Pyrenees to protect the sheep and bird dogs; a Small munsterlander, "droppers", and an English Setter).
She was honored to be voted as the NCVMA's Young Veterinarian of the Year for 2015. But now she's old and has 4 kids, so isn't eligible to be a young veterinarian of the year anymore (Please laugh at this!)
Dr. Ashley Martin
DVM
I grew up in Star, North Carolina. Being raised in a rural area sparked a lifelong love for animals and agriculture. I went on to complete an Animal Science degree from NC State in 2015 and then continued on at NC State to earn my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2020.
I spent my first year out of school working for a mixed animal practice in Yadkin County. I've been here since June of 2021. Outside of work, I enjoy horseback riding, art projects, and gardening. I also enjoy visiting family back home, as well as spending time with my dog, Jack. I would love to owner a small farm some day.
Addition to Bio from Dr Price:
Dr. Martin has also started to learn to rope cattle from horseback. The cowgirl skills are some of my favorite things about her. There is nobody that is more thorough with details of cases and your pet's care. Its incredible to watch.
HOWEVER, Dr. Martin does not like when I hug her. When we get through a case together or take something big on, I am a physical touch person. I would really like for someone to take a picture of her face during the times she let's me hug her. I want to see the expression she is making.....
Dr. Rachel Osmers

She and her husband have two dogs Bastion and Bo, four cats; Tiger, Cleo, and Sunshine, a herd of goats, and also have a flock of egg laying hens, ducks.
Whitney earned her Associate’s degree in applied science from Pima Medical Institute in 2013. She spent most of her career in specialty and emergency medicine. Whitney is committed to continuously expanding her knowledge and skills to deliver the highest standard of care for every patient and pet parent in the practice.
Dr Price's side note about Whitney: I was so hesitant to hire Whitney. Her personality mirrors mine and there are only so many loud, opinionated, get it done personalities needed in one location. However, she's been such a blessing. Her love for the animals just bleeds through in every decision she makes. She also is a hardcore, get it done, not afraid of any hard work type of a person. We butt heads like a married couple, but we work it out as our end goals are the same. I cannot believe how lucky we are to have her on our team. I promise you're lucky to have her serve you and your pets.

Dr Price's addition to Harleigh's bio: Harleigh can be a hard nut to crack. She is someone you can butt heads with only to find a secret soft center that you maybe didn't know existed. She is skilled with taking on new skills and despite the expressions she gives outwardly, she actually is really good at listening to client concerns and being a great advocate for you and your pets. She listens, processes and has a mind to be creative enough to help to try and find a solution for the client if we don't already have one.
